Missy, the WONDERFUL person at the front desk, is extremely warm, friendly and very caring but she also knows her stuff and is very helpful and patient when it came to answering my many questions. Since she is the first and last person I saw at the practice so she set the tone for my visit with my sick dog and made me (and my dog) feel very comfortable and calm due to her knowledge and compassion. Caitlyn is another wonderful staff member who is very knowledgeable and also has the rare combination of genuinely being a "people person" AND an "animal person". Dr. Grader is clearly very knowledgeable about clinical care but she is also very skilled at explaining treatment options and making recommendations in laymen's terms so it is easy for a pet owner to understand and make good choices for their pets. I wish I remembered the other staff member's names as everyone was so helpful and made me very happy to have found such a great place to help me take the best care of my dog, Nova. Thank you!"

We have been taking our cat, Jumbie, to Noah’s Ark (the sister hospital to South Salem Animal Hospital) for the past 7 years since moving to the area. Over the years Jumbie has been so lucky to be treated by the amazing doctors and team at Noah’s Ark, and to be able to stay at the “cat hotel” when we needed to board her. Jumbie was a large feral cat and could be extremely aggressive when she was not happy, so the fact that all of the veterinarians and staff were so wonderful with her speaks volumes about their practice and about each of them individually. We were beyond heartbroken last week when we lost Jumbie to kidney disease. The only thing that made that difficult time manageable was the kindness of Dr. Hubsher, Dr. Grader and the entire staff at both Noah’s Ark and South Salem Animal Hospital. They made her final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible, and they could not have been more kind and generous to my husband and me. We do not have any children, so we will likely open our home to more furry kids again soon, and look forward to bringing them to Noah’s Ark so that they get the best care from the best team! No words could ever adequately express our appreciation for all that they have done for us, and we would recommend them to anyone who wants the very best for their furry friends.
This letter is to let you, Dr. Hubsher, know how much I appreciate the care given to my pets by your dedicated staff. You have put together a very effective team and should be very proud of them. It is so pleasant to be greeted by receptionists and nurses who remember not only your name but your pet’s name too! You are made to feel welcome and most of all they show genuine concern for your pet.
Dr. Hubsher goes above and beyond what has been my experience in the past. His personal follow-up call to find out how your pet is doing is very comforting. It shows how sensitive he is to the feelings of others.
In these economic times it is so wonderful to know your office will work with you; allow you to make payments. Very refreshing to know the main concern is for the care and welfare of your pet and not for payment of services rendered. This makes the decision to bring your pet in for the care it needs, it deserves and you want to give to it much easier.

Last Wednesday, June 9th, my son Brian and I came to you with son’s very sick pet snake, Sid. This was a very emotional time for the both of us, as Brian had had Sid since he was 7 years old in 2nd grade. We both understood Sid was in dire straits when we brought Sid in to see you. We were also not financially able to pay a large veterinary bill. We felt we were between a rock and a hard place, and made the difficult decision of having Sid put down. Some how you saw the grief on my son’s face and came to his rescue. You and your staff showed incredible kindness to a young man you had never met before. You didn’t sugar coat anything and there were no guarantees. You adjusted your bill to what we could afford that day. The compassion you showed my son is something neither of us will soon forget. We left your office with renewed hope and a sense of the kindness that is not often showed nowadays. Your staff phoned Brian on Friday to check not only on Sid’s welfare, but also Brian’s. Though Brian worked diligently and in my eyes heroically to save Sid, it was not to be and we lost Sid at 6 pm on Saturday.
The reason for this letter is to let you know how much it meant to my 19 year old son to be able to care for his beloved pet. And even though we are grieving our loss, having met you and your staff and the kindness you showed us has in a large way eased our sadness. Knowing there are good and compassionate people in the world has brought us much comfort.
Thank you seems so inadequate for all you did for us, but thank you anyway. I also wanted to let you know that I believe you have changed my son’s opinion of the behavior of people for the better.
We have been bringing Molly to Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital since she was 8 weeks old. She has always received the best care. We have been treated with friendliness and real concern for every need from nail clippings to Molly’s torn ACL. We are so happy with Noah’s Ark we wouldn’t dream of taking Molly anywhere else.

Being greeted at Noah's Ark by the animal statues in costume immediately sets the tone for a good experience at the vet. Dr. Hubsher is extremely knowledgeable. He and his staff treat my Goldens with gentleness and compassion. Boarding at the animal hospital is a comforting experience for me as I see Oliver and Sam wagging their tails on their way in, and on their way out.

When we moved to Danbury we chose Noah’s Ark for convenience. When we met the staff at the hospital we were taken with their caring attitude and immediate bonding with Winston, our English Bulldog. Thanks to the staff’s knowledge we got to enjoy our pal until just before his 13th birthday. When he became ill we had to make hard decisions. We couldn’t have done it without the support and understanding of Noah’s Ark. They were almost as sad to see this day come as we were.

Wolfie was one lucky cat who truly enjoyed nine lives. Thank you all for always being available when I needed you to see Wolfie or give me advice about him.
We have brought many an animal through the doors of South Salem and Noah’s through the years starting with Myrtle, the tortoise, who like to eat stones back in the 80’s when we lived in Ridgefield. Since then, our cats Tiger, Rocky and Eppi, were patients as well as the never-to-be-forgotten Nicky the Springer Spaniel and finally Camus and Wolfie.
Our family appreciates the attentive, professional yet personal medical treatment you gave to all our pets, and most recently, feisty little Wolfie, as I said, he was a lucky cat who lived a good life.

As the owner of three dogs between 14 years of age and 8 months, I love Noah's Ark. Everybody from the doctors, to the vet techs and front desk staff treat my puppies as if they were their own. They've all given my dogs nothing but the best care.
